Our privacy approach

We collect and use personal data for defined service, security, communication, and legal purposes. We aim to limit collection, protect access, retain data proportionately, and give people meaningful ways to exercise their rights.

01

Scope and our role

This policy covers Rekan websites, account experiences, support interactions, subscriptions, and platform activity controlled by Erramandreka LLC. It does not govern an independent customer's own products, notices, or decisions.

When a customer uses Rekan to communicate with its users, that customer generally determines the communication purpose and recipient data. Rekan processes that data to provide the service under the customer's instructions and applicable agreements.

  • Read a customer's privacy notice for communications initiated by that customer.
  • This policy applies directly when you create a Rekan account, contact us, subscribe, or browse our sites.
02

Data we collect

The data we handle depends on your relationship with Rekan and the features used. We may receive it from you, your organization, a customer using Rekan, a service provider, or automatically from a device or service interaction.

We do not ask you to provide more personal data than is reasonably needed for the stated purpose.

  • Account details such as name, company, email, phone number, authentication state, preferences, and consent records.
  • Communication data such as destination, channel, template or content, status, response, timing, and routing metadata.
  • Support and commercial data such as inquiry content, subscription choices, service correspondence, and order details.
  • Technical data such as IP address, device and browser context, request identifiers, logs, security events, and site attribution.
03

How and why we use data

We use personal data to provide requested services, authenticate users, route and record communications, answer inquiries, manage subscriptions, secure the platform, prevent abuse, meet legal duties, and improve relevant service performance.

Depending on location and context, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, consent, or another lawful basis available under applicable law.

  • Provide and support accounts, APIs, communication workflows, and service operations.
  • Detect misuse, investigate incidents, enforce terms, and protect recipients and infrastructure.
  • Send requested product or editorial updates and honor withdrawal or unsubscribe choices.
  • Analyze service reliability using proportionate operational and aggregated information.
04

Sharing and service providers

We share personal data only where needed for a defined purpose, such as with communication providers, cloud and security vendors, professional advisers, an organization administering your account, or authorities when legally required.

Providers are selected for a relevant capability and are expected to protect data under contractual and legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or share it for unrelated third-party advertising.

  • Communication networks and channel providers deliver messages and return status information.
  • Hosting, monitoring, security, support, and payment vendors help operate the service.
  • A corporate transaction may involve protected transfer subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
05

International data transfers

Global communications can require data to move across borders or be accessed from more than one country. Transfer locations depend on customer configuration, destination, selected providers, support needs, and service architecture.

Where law requires, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and supplementary safeguards appropriate to the context. Customers should configure their use of Rekan consistently with their own transfer and localization obligations.

  • Assess destination and provider requirements during solution design.
  • Use contractual safeguards where an adequacy decision does not apply.
  • Limit access and transferred fields to what the communication workflow requires.
06

Retention and security

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, support legitimate operational and security needs, meet contractual and legal duties, and resolve disputes. Duration varies by record type, sensitivity, customer configuration, and applicable requirements.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect data, including access boundaries, credential controls, request tracing, monitoring, and incident procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security.

  • Account and contract records may remain while an account is active and for a required period afterward.
  • Communication and log retention should be proportionate to purpose, troubleshooting, security, and customer settings.
  • Data may remain temporarily in protected backups until normal rotation completes.
07

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

We may need to verify identity and determine whether Erramandreka LLC or a customer controls the relevant data. If the request concerns a customer's communication, we may direct you to that customer or help it respond.

  • Update available account information through the relevant account experience.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in editorial email or contact us to change marketing choices.
  • Contact us for a privacy request and describe the account, site, or communication involved.
  • You may also complain to an appropriate data protection authority where that right applies.
08

Children and policy changes

Rekan is a business communications service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts or subscribe directly. Customers are responsible for ensuring their own communication practices are appropriate for recipient age and applicable law.

We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material and the context reasonably requires it.

  • Do not submit a child's personal data unless the communication is lawful, appropriate, and authorized.
  • Review this page periodically for the current policy.

Privacy questions and requests

Contact us to exercise a privacy right or ask how this policy applies. Include the relevant Rekan site, account, or communication context, but do not email passwords or secret credentials.
